Piotr Koper
Piotr is a graduate of biotechnology at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. During his master's studies he dealt with the genetic diversity of nodulation regions in Rhizobium leguminosarum genomes. He defended his doctoral thesis at the same department working on the active segregation of repABC plasmids in the multipartite genomes of Rhizobium. His main research interests are molecular biology, comparative genomics of bacteria and bioinformatics. Simultaneously with biology, he is interested in programming and computer science, which has also resulted in experience as a programmer at Britenet. Privately, he is a happy husband and father of three sons, with whom he goes on endless bicycle trips.
