Michele Giovannini

Michele Giovannini obtained his PhD in Genomics from the University of Pisa investigating the endosymbiont-host relationships, through comparative genomic analyses with bioinformatic approaches. He obtained his master’s degree in Biology at University of Florence. During his MSc traineeship and thesis, he focused on the investigation of the metabolic adjustments that are predicted to occur over time in Pseudolateromonas haloplanktis TAC125 grown in a complex medium, implementing a computational model that explains growth kinetic. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biological Science at University of Florence. He is currently involved in a PNRR funded project on the computational modelling of microbial communities and their resilience strategies at the Department of Biology of Florence University.
