Introduction

The Department of Biology operates in accordance with the guidelines set by the University of Florence for internationalization, fostering cooperation in the educational and scientific fields with academic and research institutions worldwide. To this end, it promotes:

• the signing of cultural and scientific cooperation agreements with universities around the world;
• incoming and outgoing mobility and exchange actions for professors, researchers, students, and technical staff, including within the framework of agreements stipulated by the University and the Department.
• participation in international higher education programs.
• participation in European and non-European research programs.

The Department of Biology supports internationalization and cooperation activities with adequate financial resources and administrative support.
